Beit Yehoshua

Moshav (Zionist Labor) in the Sharon region, 7 km south of Netanya. Named after Dr. Yehoshua Tahun (1870 - 1936), rabbi and Zionist leader in Poland, the moshav was founded in 1938 by members of the Zionist Youth movement in Poland, in the framework of the stockade and tower settlements. Originally a kibbutz, it became a moshav in 1950. The moshav has estates, auxiliary farms, and family expansion areas. Estates are around 8 - 10 dunams in Parcel A and approximately 20 additional dunams, with auxiliary farms on parcels of approximately 2 dunams, and family expansion plots of between 500 - 600 square meters.
