Moshav Udim

The moshav was founded in 1948 by a group of Holocaust survivors from Romania, from which the name Udim is derived, i.e., from the biblical Book of Zechariah (2:3) - snatched from the burning fire. These founders were joined by native-born Israelis and immigrants from Iraq and Yemen. The moshav has estates, auxiliary farms, and family expansion areas. Estates are around 9 dunams in Parcel A and approximately 20 additional dunams.
